Welcome to the
St Virgil's Community
The home of past scholars of St Virgil’s College, Hobart
On September 25 1916 a gathering of 40 old boys, the College football team, the sports master, Brother Moore and the team coach, Mr J Dunn met to discuss the formation of an Old Boys’ Association and an Old Boys’ Football Club.
"The OVA plays an invaluable role in connecting past generations of Virgilians with the current students of the College so that our traditions and stories are passed on. The OVA allows us to meet as old boys and share stories, provide support during tough times and to celebrate the unique bond that joins us. We are blessed to be able to carry on the traditions that have supported so many of us in being successful in our lives, so I encourage all Old Virgilians to get involved with the OVA as the future of the Association and St Virgil’s is incredibly exciting."
